The intention is to dig the well, Riau residents are even getting gas and light bursts

Rakyat Update. The community of Riau Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) Regency has been horrified by the excavation of drill wells belonging to residents who issued gas bursts. The burst of gas that is lighted with matches finally becomes a burst of fire.

This event happened exactly in RT 1 RW 5, Hamlet of Besika Jaya, Pulau Burung Village, Pulau Burung District, Inhil. The drill well belongs to a local resident, M Rauri (50).

"The drill well was excavated in front of the residents' houses. After being excavated with a depth of 34 meters, it suddenly sprayed its own water without being sucked in with a machine," said Bird Island Village staff Hardiyanto on Thursday (12/20/2018).

Yanto explained that the excavation of the drill well was carried out on Wednesday (12/19) afternoon. Work stopped at night when suddenly, just 34 meters deep, water from the bowels of the earth spurted.

"The drill well worker was surprised because water is not usually able to ride on his own without being sucked up by a machine. Rarely, here dig deep drill wells that come out of the water. Usually here digging water can be more than 100 meters deep and not necessarily water," Yanto.

After the water came out, said Yanto, homeowners and residents smelled gas. Beside that, the water pipe sounded like a roar.

"Then the residents tried to light up with fire. It turned out that the fire was burning from the wellbore pipe," Yanto said.

Because of this unprecedented natural phenomenon, finally the local residents contacted the village apparatus. Village officials contact the local police and Babinsa.

"Last night the members of the police and the military were on location to witness the strangeness. For security, the location of the gas blast had been installed by police lines," Yanto concluded.
